Yorkshire Realty is named after the street in Santa Monica, California on which founders Chris Barker and Nida Rinthapol made their first real estate acquisition. At the time, Chris and Nida were pursuing their own careers, but had a shared goal of financial independence. The home in Santa Monica started them on that path. They then focused on multi-family investment properties and developed a practical approach to acquiring assets that combined significant monthly income, low risk, and long-term upside. Through this journey, Chris and Nida found their calling in real estate.
Chris Barker
Chris Barker is a licensed real estate broker (DRE No. 01973222) and President of Yorkshire Realty. Chris holds a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law and is a member of the California and New York bars. Before starting Yorkshire Realty, Chris spent over a decade practicing commercial litigation at some of the nation's top law firms. Chris oversees all legal matters for Yorkshire Realty.
Nida Rinthapol
Nida Rinthapol is a licensed real estate salesperson (DRE No. 02158331) and Chief Financial Officer of Yorkshire Realty. Nida holds a Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of California Santa Barbara. Nida worked as an analyst for the Milken Family Foundation, and then as associate director for data resources at UCLA.
